BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 runs July 30 to August 2 at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta. The format is the bounty re-seeding system: after each round, the lower-seeded teams pick their opponents from the higher-seeded pool. That means bracket paths are never set in stone, and a team willing to target a favorable matchup over a "better" one can shape their entire run from round one. MOUZ over 3DMAX. MOUZ bring LAN experience and structured play. 3DMAX made it through the qualifier, but they have not consistently shown the ability to take down elite opponents on LAN when it matters. MOUZ control the pace and advance.

The MongolZ over FaZe Clan. The MongolZ are operating without their coach maaRaa at this event, with him remaining in contact online. That is worth noting but not worth overweighting. This squad has proven it can self-organize under pressure, and FaZe, while experienced, arrives here without the momentum of the teams above them. The MongolZ make it through.

Astralis over paiN Gaming. Astralis are the more structured side with a stronger map pool against a paiN team that reached Malta by capitalizing on chaos in the qualifier rather than defeating tier-one opponents. Astralis handle it.

CS2 Match Today Picks And Semifinal Projections

With the opening round sorted, the re-seeding format means the semifinal shape becomes clearer. Based on how the bracket plays out under these picks:

Team Spirit over MOUZ. Spirit versus MOUZ would be the headline semifinal. Both teams have the structure to make it a close series, and MOUZ at their best are a legitimate threat to anyone. But Spirit's ceiling is higher right now, and they have the individual quality across all five roles to absorb MOUZ's pressure and find the key rounds when it matters.

The MongolZ over Astralis. The MongolZ have spent the early part of 2026 proving they belong in these conversations, and Astralis, while consistent, have not shown the firepower to shut down what The MongolZ can produce on their best day. The MongolZ advance to the grand final.

The Grand Final: Team Spirit vs The MongolZ

Spirit and The MongolZ in the grand final would be one of the more compelling matchups Malta could produce. Spirit are the favorites and deserve to be. But The MongolZ are not a team you can take a map off and expect to recover from. They create problems across the entire server, and whoever controls the pace in the opening maps is likely to take the series.
